Had a very nice meal at Bullfinch. Had the Prismatic Spray, it was delicious. Had the old bay wings, delicious. Had the fan favorite, delicious. My wife had the brewer's Cobb salad, delicious! We loved everything we had here, the menu appears simple enough to nail everything on the menu, with enough variety to please almost everyone. Our server was wonderful and appropriately attentive. Food and drink were fairly priced and not a complaint to be had in the aforementioned. Things we noticed, we went early on a Wednesday before 5pm and the restaurant was mostly empty. For how busy it wasn't, it took an extra minute or two for someone to seat us, no big deal as we imagine at the time we are eating limited staff on hand/getting ready for a much busier dinner rush. While we were eating there was a gentleman who was at the hostess table looking at a menu. Don't know if he wanted to eat but he left before possibly anyone even noticed to greet him. A few minutes later a couple arrived and they waited a good 5 to 10 minutes without anyone seeming to see or acknowledge them. They did wait and were seated. I mention those simply because those details do matter for overall experience. And for how enjoyable our meal was and the staff were, I want to see Bullfinch succeed. We will absolutely be back for more. Enjoy!!

Went for dinner before a concert and was pleasantly surprised. We were greeted within a minute and welcomed by the owner/brewmaster (he introduced himself as chief beer nerd). We started with a flight of 3 extremely unique and 1 traditional beers: all 4 were enjoyable, complex and true to their description. We would have loved to enjoy all 4 all summer. Our apps came out instantly back to back allowing us to enjoy each individually. We got the duck bacon corn wontons, super innovative and tasty. The only disagreement was on the topping, my wife wanted less, I wanted much more and a side for dipping. Fried banana pepper rings are something I have not seen before, the 2 sauces were dipped liberally and they were still there for the fries later. The entrees were very artfully described with highlighted ingredients and sauces and turned out to be extremely well done simple sandwiches. Kudos to the menu writer for selling the description and the chef for executing a philly and a spicy chicken sandwich. The only criticism I have is they arrived quickly, so quickly that we weren't done with the apps yet. Sadly we didn't have room for dessert. We will be back and try to save room. Don't sleep on this one! Are your beers in stores and in Rochester? Please consider it!!!

We came here to drink. And drink we did. I was so happy to try the True Strike IPA. It was delightful and fruity as far as an IPA goes and it went down well. This is a great spot to try at the mall when you want to catch a buzz. We haven't ordered any food this time around so I don't have any photos of that as of yet. We enjoyed a shot though, a couple of pickle backs with a substitute for Jameson and some terrible pickle juice. All is well and we're still happy 😊. At least we had a chance to watch how the fantastic sign art process takes place. I definitely recommend. Check it out for yourself.

We went out for my birthday and didn’t reserve a restaurant, everything was several hours of waiting so we decided to give this place a try, it wasn’t super busy so we went in. It was a little slow to get service but once we got service it’s was incredible, our server Chris was attentive funny and on top of anything we could need. The beer was good the food was awesome, the owner came by and chatted with us, they live music was good too. Very good vibe, love that it’s locally owned and brewed. We’ll be back for sure!

Came in on a busy Saturday afternoon and was very happy. The service at the bar was excellent. Their beers were creative and tasty. I like what they do with their sours. Beers were really great. Their Tidal Wave was very interesting but tasty. Had a tropical vibe to it. Favorite beer I tried at Bullfinch. My wife and I also shared their deep friend banana peppers just cause they sounded interesting and they were. Interesting and very tasty! We loved them.

The manager made a visit to our table and explained the brews that they made in house. The food was excellent and I love the mythology theme of the restaurant. My wife is very picky with her burgers and she said they are perfect here. I couldn’t agree more. The beer here is so smooth and delicious, served ice cold and in a can or a glass.

Bullfinch Brewpub has delicious brews, solid food, and excellent service. Me and my family went here for lunch and the food was delicious. My Irish Pub Burger and my wife's shrimp tacos were incredible, but if you think the food is good then wait until you try the beers! The Rickle Pick is a pickle based beer that they also feature, and I recommend, a spicy version called the "Fire Rick" (I think), they also have great IPAs, and outstanding sours. They offer beers to go in cans and/or Crowlers (32oz growlers) which is amazing to be able to take these home to enjoy and because we're not from the area, we've already investigated and it looks like they might ship beers as well. Hoping to see the Rickle Pick available for delivery soon!

Just a great overall brewpub experience. Beautiful ambiance, very friendly staff, the owner and head brewer even took the time to show us his brewing setup. It's gigantic! Great variety of beers available on tap or in cans. I really enjoyed the Czech lager, and the sours and stout we tried were all very well done. Didn't try any of the food this time around, but I'd definitely be back. A great option to do while shopping.

Genuinely the best sour beers ive ever had. The brewmaster is truly a savant and uses ingredient mixes you've never seen before. Also really good quality bar food and a fun Dungeons & Dragons branding. I only wish I lived closer to take advantage of their game nights.

Stopped by after work because it's close to my hotel, and very glad I did! The beer selection is great. Their beers are well crafted, kudos! 👏I ordered the Irishman burger on the rare side and was surprised by the attention to cooking the burger just as I like, more kudos! 👏I only wish we had this place back home. Glad to see they brew with our hops though- Yakima valley hops from Washington state. 👍 Overall very much satisfied with my meal and beer flight. 😋🍺🍺🍺🍺
